Description

We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will design and implement secure, resilient, and cost-efficient architecture for our cloud-native platform service. You will build and maintain a cloud-native platform infrastructure following the "infrastructure as code" principle, maintain and optimize the application layer of a multi-data center environment, and lead POC and tech selection processes from idea to implementation. Additionally, you will deliver solutions, architectures, and automation for Sapiens Applications, conduct research to bring innovative solutions to a complex environment, and lead cross-functional projects and initiatives. You will also be responsible for application and infrastructure logging and monitoring solutions.

Requirements

• At least 5-7 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer and administering Linux servers.
• Hands-on experience in developing, deploying, tuning, and debugging applications.
• Extensive experience with designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines and automation solutions like GitHub / ArgoCD; DevOps experience is a plus.
• Hands-on experience working with public cloud services, particularly AWS.
• Extensive scripting experience in PowerShell, Python, and Bash.
• Vast experience in working with Java web applications.
• At least 2 years of experience with at least one automation tool (Ansible/Terraform).
• Knowledge of web security aspects such as WAF, certificates, OS hardening, security policies, and VPNs is an advantage.
• Good understanding of monitoring stacks such as ELK, Grafana, Prometheus, and DataDog.
• Experience working with live production environments.
• Strong sense of accountability, ownership, and independence.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
