DevOps Engineer

Description

We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will design and implement secure, resilient, and cost-efficient architecture for our cloud-native platform service. You will build and maintain a cloud-native platform infrastructure following the "infrastructure as code" principle, maintain and optimize the application layer of a multi-data center environment, and lead POC and tech selection processes from idea to implementation. Additionally, you will deliver solutions, architectures, and automation, conduct research to bring innovative solutions to a complex environment, and lead cross-functional projects and initiatives. You will also be responsible for application and infrastructure logging and monitoring solutions.

Requirements

• At least 5-7 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer and administering Linux servers.
• Hands-on experience in developing, deploying, tuning, and debugging applications.
• Extensive experience with designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines and automation solutions like GitHub / ArgoCD; DevOps experience is a plus.
• Hands-on experience working with public cloud services, particularly AWS.
• Extensive scripting experience in PowerShell, Python, and Bash.
• Vast experience in working with Java web applications.
• At least 2 years of experience with at least one automation tool (Ansible/Terraform).
• Knowledge of web security aspects such as WAF, certificates, OS hardening, security policies, and VPNs is an advantage.
• Good understanding of monitoring stacks such as ELK, Grafana, Prometheus, and DataDog.
• Experience working with live production environments.
• Strong sense of accountability, ownership, and independence.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
